File > New Virtual Machine > Custom (advanced) > Next > Next > Installer disc image file (iso): [c:\user\...Check_Point_Install_and_Upgrade_R76.Gaia.iso] > Linux / Red Hat Linux > CP_Mgmt: memory - 2048 MB; Use bridge networking; BusLogic; IDE; Create a new virtual disk; Max disk size: 60 GB

Note:

- in production environment, your mgmt is normally behind GWs. You might want to use GW's internal IP as your Mgmt's default gateway

- you will need reboot

  • In VMWare Workstation - GW installation

 

File > New Virtual Machine > Custom (advanced) > Next > Next > Installer disc image file (iso): [c:\user\...Check_Point_Install_and_Upgrade_R76.Gaia.iso] > Linux / Red Hat Linux > CP_GW1: memory - 1024 MB; Use bridge networking; BusLogic; IDE; Create a new virtual disk; Max disk size: 30 GB

Add two more NICs:

 

Go through the same process as installing Mgmt server.

Same process as First Time Config for the Mgmt, except this time you choose to install as a gateway not Mgmt
